Team news: Bristol Bears Women vs Wasps Ladies

Bears Women make 4 changes as they welcome Wasps Ladies to Shaftesbury Park on Saturday afternoon (2pm).

  • Clara Nielson captains
  • Chelsea Jones and Delany Burns make full debuts
  • Mulhearn starts at tighthead

The backline remains largely unchanged from the side that suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Loughborough Lightning. The only change coming at inside centre as Chelsea Jones makes her full Allianz Premier 15s debut in place of Amber Reed.

Kim Oliver makes two changes to the front row as Stef Evans and Ellie Mulhearn start at loose and tight head. Megan Barwick is unavailable for selection this weekend meaning Delany Burns lines up at blindside flanker.

Due to Wales’ Six Nations fixture with Scotland being postponed, Alishah Butchers and Elinor Snowsill are named among the Impact Players.

Abbie Parsons returns to the matchday squad after serving a one-match suspension.
