Team news: Bristol Rugby vs Harlequins

Bristol Rugby have named a 36-man squad for the opening pre-season friendly versus Harlequins on Saturday (2.30pm KO).

Pat Lam’s men face the Aviva Premiership outfit at Cleve RFC, with a number of players – including Ian Madigan and Mat Protheroe – set to make their first appearance in the blue and white hoops.

17 year-old Bristol Grammar School student and former Thornbury Broncos winger Charlie Powell is included after impressing during pre-season, while former England U18 winger Aaron Chapman is on trial and earns a place in the squad.
