Mitch Eadie returns to the starting line-up when Bristol face London Scottish on Friday evening (7.45pm KO).
The back rower – who is available following a six-week ban – is the only change from the side that overcame Scarlets Premiership Select last weekend.
Andy Robinson keeps faith in the majority of the team that secured a nine-try victory, as David Lemi continues to skipper the side ahead of the Ashton Gate clash.
Marc Jones is selected among the replacements after recovering from a hip injury, while James Phillips could make his fiftieth competitive appearance for the club if he features on Friday.
Rayn Smid (ankle) and Gareth Maule (hamstring) are unavailable for selection and join Ben Glynn (shoulder), Olly Robinson (ankle), Ian Evans (knee) and Dwayne Peel (shoulder) on the sidelines.
