Team news: Exeter Braves vs Bristol Bears 'A'

Bristol Bears ‘A’ travel to Sandy Park on Sunday looking to halt a run of two successive defeats in the Premiership Shield.

Sean Marsden’s side went down to an agonizing 32-33 defeat on Monday night in a spirited performance versus Saracens Storm.

In Round Four of the competition, James Dun makes his first start in the back row since returning from a long-term injury, while Ryan Edwards and Reiss Cullen come into the backline.

Clifton College and Academy U18s centre Harry Asherl lines up in the midfield for his Premiership Shield debut.

“The guys were disappointed after the late defeat on Monday, but we have an opportunity to make amends right away and our young team are relishing the chance to test themselves against Exeter.”

Academy manager Marsden said: “Exeter are one of the strongest sides in the competition, so we are under no illusions about the challenge we face at Sandy Park on Sunday.
