Team news: Exeter Chiefs vs Bristol Bears - PC R1

Deago Bailey is set for his competitive debut when Bears face Exeter Chiefs in the opening round of the Premiership Cup on Saturday (3pm KO).

  • Academy wing Bailey set for competitive debut
  • Dave Attwood skippers the side
  • Strang, Challenger, Benz-Salomon, Duncan, Lennon and Cotton all set for debuts

The England U20s winger is included in a strong side that includes four internationals, skippered by Dave Attwood.

Theo Strang is also set for his first start in the Sandy Park clash, while Nathan Hughes returns to the side in the back row.

Bristol list a number of debutants on the bench, with Senior Academy back rower Macenzzie Duncan named alongside tighthead Ashley Challenger, while Jono-Benz Salomon and Oscar Lennon (Hartpury College) also feature.
