Welsh international Manon Johnes returns to the Bears Women starting XV for Saturday’s Allianz Premier 15s regular season finale against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park (2pm KO, live on BBC Sport).
Johnes is one of three changes from last weekend’s defeat to Harlequins at Ashton Gate, with England Sevens star Grace Crompton replacing the injured Jasmine Joyce on the wing. Joyce has successfully undergone shoulder surgery, ruling her out for the remainder of the season, but will return to action ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Bears qualified for the Premier 15s play-offs for the first time thanks to the four-try bonus-point earned last weekend, and a win at Sandy Park could see them secure a home semi-final, depending on Harlequins’ result against Loughborough Lightning.
