Team news: Exeter Chiefs Women vs Bristol Bears Women

Kim Oliver has named her first matchday 23 of the 2020/21 Allianz Premier 15s season as Bears Women take on Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park on Saturday, October 17th (12pm). 

  • Four debutants
  • Olympic star Jasmine Joyce starts
  • Reed captains the side

The Bears will be chomping at the bit to get going on Saturday afternoon, following a delayed start to their season as Kim Oliver names a strong squad to kick-off the 20/21 campaign.

Four of the Bears’ summer recruit start on Saturday afternoon as Olympic star, Jasmine Joyce lines up on the wing with Kayleigh Powell being named at full-back. Fellow debutants, Natalia John and Alisha Butchers line up at second row and openside flanker respectively.

Amber Reed captains the side from the inside centre channel with Elinor Snowsill wearing the number 10 jersey, and Keira Bevan starting at scrum-half. 

Abbie Parsons packs down from the start in the front row alongside, Simi Pam and Sarah Bern. 

Courtney Keight and Megan Barwick could also make her Bristol Bears Women bow if introduced on Saturday afternoon.
