Team news: Firwood Waterloo Ladies vs Bristol Bears Women

Kim Oliver names her first matchday squad of 2019 as Bristol Bears Women travel to face Firwood Waterloo tomorrow in round 14 of the Tyrrell’s Premier 15s (2:15pm KO). 

The pack remains largely unchanged from the side that toppled Loughborough Lightning in round 13 at Shaftesbury Park, the only change being Esme Bird starting at blindside flanker with Mackenzie Carson missing out through illness. 

Clara Nielson will continue to captain the side at hooker with Naomi Keddie and Jess Thomas starting at loose and tight-head respectively. 

Becky Hughes comes into the starting line-up and will be wearing the number ten jersey as she partners Caity Mattinson in the half-backs. 

Lucie Skuse also comes into start and she will join Lucy Attwood in the centres, whilst the back three of Lauren Harris, Lilly Stoeger-Goddard and Cat McNaney remains unchanged. 

Merry Doidge returns to the match day squad after missing round 13 and she is named amongst the Impact Players for the away trip.
