Team news: Gloucester-Hartpury vs Bears Women

Dave Ward has made one change to his starting XV as Bears Women go in search of two wins from two against Gloucester-Hartpury on Saturday (2pm KO).

  • Keight starts on right wing
  • Mulhearn set to feature
  • Marston comes into the squad

The only omission from the Bears Women side that won on the opening weekend against Exeter Chiefs is Jasmine Joyce, who has linked up with the Great Britain sevens squad for a two-week camp.

Wales international Courtney Keight comes into the starting XV on the right-hand wing, which sees Jenny Hesketh shift to full-back.

Two changes have been made to the wider squad as the powerful duo of Ellie Mulhearn and Rownita Marston look set to be unleashed at the Alpas Arena for the first time this campaign.

Supporters can watch the action for free at the Alpas Arena on Saturday afternoon, however for those that can’t make the journey up the M5 there is good news as the fixture will also streamed by Premier15s.
