Fitz Harding will make his first Gallagher Premiership appearance of the season when Bristol Bears take on West Country rivals Gloucester at Kingsholm on Saturday (3pm KO, live on BT Sport).
Harding slots in at number eight in the absence of Magnus Bradbury, while Tom Whiteley is set for a first league start since February against the Cherry and Whites, replacing the injured Harry Randall in the number nine shirt.
Joe Batley, who joined from Worcester Warriors last week, is named in the second row alongside captain Joe Joyce, while in the back three, Luke Morahan and Henry Purdy both return to the starting XV.
