Ryan Edwards is set for his first Championship start since September when Bristol Rugby travel to Rotherham Titans on Saturday (2pm KO).
The winger is one of six changes from the side that suffered a first defeat of the season in the last outing versus Jersey.
Record try-scorer David Lemi is recalled to the opposite wing, with Luke Morahan switching to full back. Alapati Leiua moves into the midfield alongside Siale Piutau, while Rhodri Williams returns at scrum half.
In the pack, Steven Luatua (knee) is ruled out for the remainder of the league campaign, so Dan Thomas and Jordan Crane – who skippers the side at Clifton Lane – come into the back row.
Joe Joyce moves back into the second row, with Sam Jeffries switching to blindside flanker.
Head coach Pat Lam said: “I’ve been very impressed with the response from the players – on and off the training field – since our first loss.
“The attitude has been spot on as we prepare for the tough challenge up North. The focus is on channeling our desire into our teamwork and to get the points on offer.”
Ollie Dawe is listed among the replacements and could make his first league outing of the campaign if he features.
