Team News: Saracens vs Bristol Bears AP R17

Bristol Bears take on Saracens at the StoneX on Sunday, May 28th in round 17 of the Allianz Premier 15s (2:30pm).

  • Four changes
  • Daisie Mayes to make 50th appearance
  • Penultimate fixture of regular season

Head coach, Dave Ward has made four changes to the starting XV that beat Exeter Chiefs at home last weekend.

In the forwards Gwen Pyrs takes over from Simi Pam at lose-head prop in what will be her second start of the season. Elsewhere in the forwards, Bryonie King comes in for Claire Molloy at number 8.

Courtney Keight comes in for Amy Coles on the right-wing, whilst Lucy Burgess starts at scrum-half ahead of Keira Bevan in the final change to the starting XV.

Daisie Mayes comes in as a finisher and will make her 50th appearance when she comes off the bench.

Bears need to secure just two points from the remaining two games to secure themselves a space in the play-offs.
