Kim Oliver has named her matchday twenty-two that will travel to Sixways Stadium on Sunday, December 1st (2pm) as Tyrrell’s Premier 15s action returns.
Both aged just 20-years old, Lucie Skuse and Hollie Cunningham will lead out the Bears at Sixways as co-captains for Sunday’s clash. The pair have both captained the Red Roses U20s at different stages and will now make the step up at club level for the first time.
Front-row mainstays Sarah Bern and Naomi Keddie will be joined by Abbie Parsons at hooker, whilst powerhouse Rownita Marston will start at the base of the scrum fresh off the back of her appearances for the Red Roses.
Rhi Parker returns to the Bears fold and will be in the thick of it from the get-go as she’s named to start at scrum-half and will be partnered with Becky Hughes, who will wear the number ten jersey.
Lucy Burgess will start on the left wing with Lucy Attwood and speedster Lilly Stoeger-Goddard completing the back three.
“It will definitely be a tough game on Sunday up at Worcester, it’s been a long five weeks off but it’s given us a chance to almost have a second pre-season and really work on the areas that we need to improve on, said Oliver.
“We will be confident going into the game but we’ve got to be at the top of our game straight away."
