Three Bristol Bears players set for Six Nations Festival

Three members of the Bristol Bears Academy will represent their countries at the 2019 U18 Six Nations Festival (11-21 April).

Jack Bates (SGS Filton) has been included in the England U18s squad, Ioan Lloyd (Clifton College) is called up to Wales U18s, while Tom Jones (SGS Filton) is named in Scotland's U18s squad.

Academy manager Mike Hall said: "We're delighted to see the boys have the opportunity to play international rugby and test themselves against some of the best players in Europe.

"Congratulations to Ioan, Jack and Tom and their families, we look forward to watching them continue to develop."

The festival which is being hosted by England Rugby at Hartpury University and College will see three sets of fixtures at Gillman’s Ground, Sixways Stadium and Kingsholm, all live via FreeSports TV.
