Tom Lindsay appointed forwards coach at Bears Women

Tom Lindsay will take over as forwards coach at Bristol Bears Women with immediate effect.

The Bristol Bears hooker replaces Jordan Crane, who steps down following his appointment as Academy transition coach.

An experienced Premiership performer for Wasps, Gloucester and Bristol, Lindsay worked closely with the Women during the 2018/19 campaign and now formally joins Kim Oliver’s coaching staff.

"We have an exciting group of forwards at the Bears and the set-piece in particular is a critical factor in us having a successful Tyrrell’s Premier 15s season – Tom will add real value to us in that area."

“We have an exciting group of forwards at the Bears and the set-piece in particular is a critical factor in us having a successful Tyrrell’s Premier 15s season – Tom will add real value to us in that area.

“Although Jordan’s time on the coaching staff was brief, we are grateful for his contribution and advice and everybody at Bears Women is delighted to see him taking on a coaching position with the men’s team.”
