Travel information: Bristol Bears at The Clash

Fans using the railways to travel to The Clash at the weekend should be aware of the below important information.

More than 45,000 tickets have already been sold for the Gallagher Premiership West Country derby at HQ, and are available to purchase online now by clicking here.

Saturday, April 6th

Supporters travelling from Bristol are recommended to travel on services from Bristol Parkway.

Services from Bristol Temple Meads to Reading (change for South Western Railway services towards London Waterloo via Twickenham) and London Paddington will operate a standard timetable. However, with these services calling at Bath Spa, trains are likely to be exceptionally busy so supporters are advised to book tickets in advance and allow plenty of time for their journey.

Replacement buses will operate between Westbury/Frome to Bath Spa and from Westbury to Chippenham (via Melksham). Full details at www.gwr.com/bristol2019.

To assist those supporters in the Westbury area travelling by train to Reading for onward connections to Twickenham the following service alterations have been made to supplement the services already planned to call at:

· 06.57 Plymouth to London Paddington will call additionally at Westbury (09.50) to pick up only, and then run around 7 minutes later than previously advertised through to London Paddington
· 18.03 London Paddington to Penzance will call additionally at Westbury (19.18) to set down only and will then run later than previously advertised to Penzance

Sunday, April 7th

Fans returning from the capital on Sunday, April 7th should be aware that trains from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will be diverted and not call at Chippenham or Bath Spa

Buses will replace trains between Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads, Swindon and Westbury/Frome as well as between Chippenham and Westbury (via Melksham).
