Kyle Traynor has been selected to represent the Barbarians versus Samoa on Saturday, 29 August (3pm KO).
The Bristol and Scotland prop will represent the world famous invitational side in the first ever rugby match to be played at the London Olympic Stadium.
The Barbarians will field an international fifteen when they take on Samoa, who are preparing for Pool B matches against South Africa, Scotland, the USA and Japan.
“I’m honoured to have been selected and looking forward to the opportunity to represent the Barbarians,” Traynor told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“It’s something on every player’s bucket list, so to earn a call-up is a proud moment. The chance to play at the Olympic Stadium ahead of the Rugby World Cup is exciting and it promises to be a bruising encounter against a strong Samoa side.”
