Trio to face Tonga in Pacific Nations Cup

Chris Vui and Alapati Leiua have been named in the Samoa team to face Tonga in the opening fixture of the 2019 Pacific Nations Cup at Apia Park on Saturday.

Vui starts on the blindside flank while Leiua is named at outside centre, with prop Jordan Lay among the replacements. 

Samoa to face Tonga (Sat, July 27th, Apia Park, 3am BST): Ah See Tuala; Johnny Vaili, Alapati Leiua, Reynold Lee-Lo, Belgium Tuatagaloa; Ulupano Seutini, Auvasa Falealii; Logovii Mulipola, Motu Matu'u (capt), Paul Alo-Emile, Teofilo Paulo, Kane Leaupepe, Chris Vui, TJ Ioane, Afaesetiti Amosa

Replacements: Ray Niuia, Jordan Lay, Alofaaga Sao, Vaito'asa Senio Toleafoa, Alamanda Motuga, Dwayne Polataivao, AJ Alatimu, JJ Taulagi.
