Tusi Pisi has penned a one-year extension with Bristol Rugby following an impressive campaign in the blue and white hoops.
The Samoan international – as well as skippering the side seven times this season – has been an integral part of Pat Lam’s midfield.
“Tusi [Pisi] has been a standout performer for us throughout the year. Not only for the quality he brings on the field, but also the leadership and standards he has shown off the field,” said head coach Lam.
“Tusi wants to help Bristol achieve promotion and then take his opportunity in the Premiership. His experience, communication skills and leadership will be vital to the team going forward.”

Pisi has thirty international caps and joined the club in the summer of 2016 from Sunwolves.
He added: “This has been a great season for me personally, but also for my teammates – the vision and environment that has been instilled at the club has given everybody a boost.
“I’m enjoying my rugby and working alongside some fantastic players. The focus for us is to finish the job this season, then we know we have a point to prove in the top flight.”
