England U18s were beaten in their second match of the Six Nations Festival, losing 32-30 to Italy at Cardiff Arms Park, but Wales and Scotland claimed impressive wins.
Blake Boyland was listed among the replacements as England went down at Cardiff Arms Park.
Italy led 14-3 at the break, with three penalties from Paolo Garbisi and a try for Matteo Drudi, while George Barton kicked England's only points.
England scored second half tries through Ollie Sleightholme and a brace for Alfie Barbeary, as well as a penalty try but scores for Matteo Moscardi and Albert Batista helped seal victory for Italy.
Meanwhile, Scotland U18 secured their second win of this year's U18 Six Nations Festival with a gutsy performance against France U18.
Nathan Chamberlain was named on the bench as Scotland came from behind to record a memorable 24-21 win, with Rufus McLean bagging a double.
Finally, a Wales U18s side including Ioan Lloyd gave Ireland Schools Under-18s six of the best to claim a 36-28 triumph.
First-half tries from hooker Cameron Lewis (Coleg Sir Gar) and Louis Rees-Zammit (Hartpury College) put Chris Horsman's men in control before they ran riot after the interval. Lewis and Rees-Zammitt completed their braces to add to scores from man of the match Teddy Williams (Glantaf) and Jac Morgan (Coleg Sir Gar).
Bristol Flyers suffered a 106-89 defeat to the Leicester Riders away from home.
