GETTING TO THE GATE

Clean Air Zone - NOW LIVE

Bristol’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now live and fans are encouraged to check whether they will be affected.

Non-compliant vehicles will be charged between £9 and £100 per day to drive through the zone in central Bristol.

Although Ashton Gate itself sits just outside of the zone, some roads near the stadium are within it and thus we encourage fans to carefully plan their journey.

Full details on the CAZ including maps, schedule of charges and a vehicle compliance checker can be found at www.cleanairforbristol.org/caz/.

Matchday bus

The AG1, AG2 and AG3 will all operate between 1730 and 1930, with travel from £1 return.

  • AG1 Portway Park & Ride (via Portway) – approx. every 20 minutes
  • AG2 Brislington Park & Ride (direct service) – approx. every 30 minutes
  • AG3 Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the centre) – approx. every 20 minutes

All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. Full details including route maps, timetables, pricing and ticket information is available at www.bcfc.co.uk/travel. Last post-match departures at 23:30.

Full travel guide can be found here.

BEARS GIVING BACK

Ahead of the Zebre home fixture in December, we teamed up with 15 Bristol-based charity partners - South Bristol Scouts, St Monica’s Trust, Gloucester Cricket Foundation, Flamingo Chicks, Ignite Bristol (Access Sport), Incredible Me (Oasis Long Cross), Ciao Foundation, Southmead Development Trust, Wooden Spoon, St Peter's Hospice, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, Heart Heroes, Star Scheme, Grand Appeal, Children's Hospice South West and Project Zulu - inviting their staff and volunteers to Ashton Gate, while also taking donations at the stadium for Kitmas and Teddy Trust.

Following huge interest in the charities and the donations, we'll be collecting at Ashton Gate once again when Perpignan visit BS3. Supporters can leave their donations under the clock in the South Stand concourse.

Supporters are encouraged to donate teddy bears to the Teddy Trust, for children suffering the effects of war, sexual abuse or hunger and starvation, via the Teddy Trust.

Teddy Trust works with other charities including Rotary International in South Africa, where teddy bears are used by the police in their rape crisis centres and by doctors and nurses in hospital forensic units.
We'll also be collecting for clothes and supplies for the homeless charity St Mungo's - a national charity which, for more than 50 years has been at the forefront of efforts to tackle homelessness. Year on year it seeks to provide solutions with, and for, people who are sleeping rough or facing homelessness; putting them at the heart of efforts to help them fulfil their hopes and ambitions.
In the lead-up to the game, players and staff will visit Bristol Food Bank to lend a hand, following on from the club's Giving Back day before Christmas, which saw players visit Children's Hospice South West, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, The Wild Goose Cafe, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre and a number of schools in the city to spread some Christmas cheer.
