Bristol Bears seeks an Academy Administrator responsible for overall administration and coordination of the Bristol Bears Academy programmes.
BACKGROUND
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to support the Bristol Bears Pathway and assist in leading the Bristol Bears Academy into the future.
The appointee will apply their appropriate skillset, passion, and experience to implement and deliver effective, efficient, and high-quality administrative provision across the Academy Pathway, as directed by the Academy Managers. The Administrator will often be the first point of contact for key stakeholders, and is expected to provide a positive, friendly, and professional image, reflective of the culture and values of Bristol Bears.
The Bristol Bears Academy form part of the RFU/PRL Regional Academy network. The primary objective of which is to identify and develop the next generation of quality players for Bristol Bears and England.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Academy Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Junior and Senior Academy. They will administer the extensive Academy Development provision across the Bristol Bears catchment area, and review, maintain and update the relative databases and records for both the Junior and Senior Academy.
The Administrator will be based at the Bristol Bears High Performance Centre (HPC) in Failand. Although the primary role is within the academy, the appointee may be expected to undertake other administrative duties where required by the organisation, including front of house duties.
The appointee is expected to be pro-active in dealing with day-to-day administrative tasks – with responsibility for establishing relationships and a key understanding of the problems and potential solutions for staff, parental and player concerns.
The working location will be the HPC, however where required, the role may include duties outside of normal office hours, including weekends, and at off-site locations.
