Vacancy: Community Inclusion Coach

Bristol Bears Community Foundation is seeking to recruit a full time inclusion and disability specialist to join our team as a Community Inclusion Coach (CIC).

As a CIC your role will be primarily focused on delivering high-quality specialist programmes to individualswith a range of additional needs, including Special Educational Needs (MLD, SLD, PMLD, ASD, SEMH) and physical disabilities. In addition, there will be opportunities to work in wider community programmes with adults with learning disabilities and/or complex and challenging behaviour, adults aged 55+ to deliver sport and physical activity, and individuals and their families affected by loneliness, social isolation or living with dementia.

Key essential requirements:

2 years sports coaching/teaching experience.
2 years experience working with or supporting individuals with disabilities or identified additional needs.
2 years experience working with or supporting individuals with a range of communication difficulties.
A sound understanding of rugby union or other team sports.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to working).
Passionate about inclusive development and raising disability awareness.
Passionate about sport and physical activity.

SALARY

£19,000 - £22,000 per annum (to be discussed upon appointment).
