Vacancy: Community Rugby Coach

Bristol Bears Community Foundation is seeking to recruit two full time Community Rugby Coaches to join our outstanding workforce.

As a Community Rugby Coach your role will be primarily focused on delivering high-quality PE, sport and physical activity programmes to a broad range of community participants across our region, in schools and at local rugby clubs.

You will establish and develop excellent relationships with the wider community and help promote the values and vision of Bristol Bears Community Foundation. The successful candidate will be engaging, personable, confident and keen to develop alongside our workforce.

One role will have an identified responsibility of delivering and developing our existing women & girls programmes.

Community Rugby Coach

This role will support the delivery of our education and participation community programmes (click above header for job description).

Community Rugby Coach with Women & Girls Responsibility

This role will directly support the delivery and development of local and national programmes focussing on the health and wellbeing of women & girls in particular (click above header for job description).

Key essential requirements*:

  • Two years sports coaching/teaching experience
  • Level 2 RFU Coaching Rugby Union Qualification or commitment to completing within 10 months of employment
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to working)
  • Passionate about sport, physical activity, health & wellbeing
  • Clean and valid UK Driving Licence

SALARY

Full-time salary of £18,500 to £22,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
