Vacancy: Media Executive

Bristol Bears has an exciting opportunity for a talented Media Executive to join our team at the Bears High Performance Centre and play a key role in the club’s journey to Inspire Our Community Through Rugby Success.

Working across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams, as well as our award-winning Community Foundation, the successful candidate will provide full media management expertise - including the coordination of press conferences and media requests – create multimedia content for a range of digital channels and implement communications strategies. You’ll be comfortable managing a range of digital channels and have experience of working matchdays.

Key Responsibilities

Media management, including press conferences and media requests
Social media management and data reporting
Filming and creating content on Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
Matchday media management
Interviewing key stakeholders, including players and staff
To support communications for the Bristol Sport group of companies where required

The ideal candidate

We welcome recent graduates or confident self-starters, but experience of working in a professional environment is beneficial.

Experienced Media Manager (experience of professional sport preferable)
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
A highly organised individual, who can multi-task and work under pressure and to deadline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A team player who buys into the Bears culture and vision, taking ownership of their role with a proactive ‘can do’ mindset
A willingness to be flexible; working out-of-hours and weekends, and to tight deadlines
A keen interest in Premiership Rugby & Allianz Premier 15s
Full clean driving license and vehicle
