Vacancy: Sport Scientist

A new, exciting role has been identified to work with Bristol Bears, supporting with the implementation and delivery of their instrumented mouthguards project across all squads (Senior Men’s and Women’s) and assist with Senior Team Sports Science.

The role will be a full time, fixed term contract running until 30th June 2023 which will require you to work at the Bears High Performance Centre five days per week. It is also anticipated that you may become involved in data collection for other welfare and performance initiatives. This could include but is not limited to:

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining a structured, query able database for both data sources
  • Contribute positively to the Bears Vision and Culture
  • Must have own transport due to remote location

  • Players
  • Contacts from World Rugby, England Rugby, and Premiership Rugby
