Vacancy: Wheelchair Sport Assistant Coach (part-time)

Bristol Bears Community Foundation invites inclusive and specialist sports coaches and practitioners to join our expanding team as a Wheelchair Sport Assistant Coach (part time), delivering wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball and other multi-sport activities.

As a Wheelchair Sport Assistant Coach, you will assist the delivery of a new weekly wheelchair sport hub to youth players with a range of physical disabilities, learning disabilities, wider additional needs and their siblings and friends.

The role may also present opportunities to work in other inclusive sport settings, including specialist schools and community groups; as well as other Bristol Bears Community Foundation inclusive programmes.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to play an active role in developing the enjoyment and experience of wheelchair sport across the city. This will involve building strong relationships with partner organisations, and helping to develop further Bristol Bears Community Foundation’s capacity to provide accessible sessions for a wider community.
