Varndell Nominated For Player Of The Month

Tom Varndell has been shortlisted for the Championship's September player of the month award following three tries in the opening four games of the campaign.

After the success of its debut last year, the Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Month award returns for its second season.

Designed to recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals throughout the league stages, the Player of the Month Award last year acknowledged the talents of Matthew Morgan, Sam Olver, Marco Mama, Dougie Flockhart, Max Stelling and Charlie Amesbury.

September Player of the Month nominees

Aaron Pinches (Moseley)
George Perkins (Bedford Blues)
Latu Makaafi (Doncaster Knights)
