Bristol Bears can announce the arrivals of scrum halves Toby Venner and Max Green with immediate effect.
Gloucester number nine Venner, who has impressed throughout his spell at GKIPA Championship side Hartpury, joins on loan until the end of the 2021/22 season, while Green comes onboard from West Country neighbours Bath on a short-term agreement.
With Harry Randall away on Six Nations duty and Andy Uren and Tom Whiteley unavailable due to long-term injuries, Bears bolster their depth with Venner and Green’s arrivals.
Director of Rugby Pat Lam said: “I’d would like to extend my thanks to George Skivington at Gloucester Rugby and Ed Griffiths at Bath Rugby for allowing the players to join us here at the Bears High Performance Centre.”
“Both are available for selection for the game on Friday with Worcester Warriors.”
