Video: Players open up on mental health for Movember

Bristol Bears' Will Hurrell and Callum Sheedy have been sharing their own mental health stories as part of the 2018 Movember Foundation campaign to stop men dying too young.

Hurrell opened up on his personal battle with mental health issues, while Sheedy reflected on the experience of supporting a friend through a tough period. Bristol Bears is proud to support the Movember Foundation’s campaign to stop men dying too young.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health and addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

Bristol City, Bristol Bears and Bristol Flyers – as well as the clubs’ sporting charities – are backing this year’s campaign, with players growing moustaches, helping to raise funds and sharing their own personal stories.
