Chris Vui says there is excitement in the camp ahead of Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership play-off semi-final clash with Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.
After securing a third-place finish, the Bears face Lee Blackett’s second-seed side in a mouth-watering contest in Coventry – and Vui says they are exactly where they want to be.
“We’ve talked about reaching these sorts of games and now we’re finally here,” said the Samoan.
“Top four and going into the semi-finals and finals, it’s a testament to everyone here at the club and everyone who has been here over the last three years or so.
“There’s a really great buzz around the club and we can definitely go on and get some of these trophies.
“The boys are really excited by the challenge ahead against Wasps, even though we’ve lost two against them, there’s a real excitement to play Wasps in a semi-final, so I think there’s a lot of enjoyment around the boys.
“It may be our last week, so I think there is a real togetherness at the moment.”
