Wales down Scotland at Scotstoun

Bears Women had a trio of stars in action as Wales comprehensively beat Scotland 17-3 on Sunday afternoon in Glasgow.

Siwan Lillicrap captained her country from the base of the scrum, whilst Elinor Snowsill started at fly-half and Lauren Smyth at full-back.

Wales scored all of their seventeen points in the first forty minutes as Bethan Lewis and Lisa Neumann crossed, as well as the visitors scoring a penalty try.

Smyth had a huge hand in Wales’ second as her delicate rubber under immense pressure sat up perfectly for Neumann to dot down over the whitewash.
