Pat Lam praised his players for digging deep to earn a draw against reigning champions Leicester Tigers, but bemoaned the penalty count against the Bears on Saturday night.
The Bears scored four tries courtesy of the returning Semi Radradra, Charles Piutau, Bryan Byrne and the outstanding Gabriel Ibitoye, but AJ MacGinty's last-gasp penalty fell agonisingly short of snatching all five points.Β
