Tom Lindsay was left frustrated as Bears Women went away from the intended game plan against DMP Sharks, which resulted in their last home fixture of campaign ending in defeat.
“I think we went away from what we wanted out of the game. We talked about playing in the right areas, we can’t play as much as we did in our own twenty-two and our own half,” said Lindsay.
“There were some beautiful breaks out there today, but we did it all in our half and expended a lot of energy in getting there and then we got turned over.
“DMP thoroughly deserved to win - they played in the right areas. They got out of their twenty-two and half and forced the error or we kicked the ball out for their lineout.
“Obviously, it’s a disappointing day but we have to keep taking the learnings. We look back at the game and the process it. We’ll go through it with a fine toothcomb on Monday night - we’ll get better as a group.
“We can’t keep our heads down, we have got to keep our heads up, be positive and help each other improve.”
