World Cup Review: Round Three

Matthew Morgan's Wales will progress through to the quarter-finals, but Jack Lam, Anthony Perenise and Tommaso Benvenuti's World Cups are soon to be over.ย

Morgan impressed in his first start for Wales, helping Gatland's side to a 23-13 victory over Fiji at the Millennium Stadium and - following England's defeat to Australia - booking a place in the knockout stages in the process.

Jack Lam and Anthony Perenise were second half replacements as Samoa suffered a shock 26-5 defeat to Japan to end their hopes of progressing to the quarter-finals, while Benvenuti's Italy went down 16-9 to Italy in a closely-fought encounter.
