Super Sunday

The Super Sunday programme is one of the Bristol Bears Community Foundation’s longest-running programmes and continues to strengthen the bond between the professional club and Bristol Combination clubs.

Programme Structure

The Super Sunday experience provides mini and junior players with a unique opportunity to enhance their passion for club rugby and get close to real-life Bristol Bears players.

Every young player will enjoy 2 hours of professional coaching from experienced BBCF Community coaches who are all; ERCA qualified, first aid trained with enhanced DBS. Sessions are designed to improve their game and understanding aligned with principles of play and APES. Coaches from the mini and junior coaches have the opportunity to participate in our range of CPD sessions, designed to encourage new ideas, strengthen club networking and share best practice amongst the club-coaching workforce.

Our 'Game Sense' CPD session continues to be the most valuable and relevant CPD for coaches across all of your age groups. Young players will benefit from meeting 1st team players and have the chance to ask questions (subject to availability), receive a piece of Bristol Bears merchandise to wear proudly, access to discounted Premiership Rugby match tickets, and a half-time pitch parade with their club.
