Ed Holmes joined Bristol Bears following a successful short-term loan agreement in the club's promotion winning campaign and has thrived under the leadership of Pat Lam.
The back five utility forward arrived from Exeter Chiefs and made 17 appearances in the Gallagher Premiership in 2018/19, before featuring heavily during the 2019/20 campaign.
A physical and abrasive ball carrier and a strong lineout operator, Holmes' scored a sensational solo try during December 2020's dramatic home draw with London Irish at Ashton Gate.
